Duane M. Ahsenmacher, age 53, of Annandale died suddenly on Monday, October 23, 2017 in Annandale.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, both at the church. A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Please bring printed stories, memories and/or photos of Dewey to leave for the family.

Duane Michael Ahsenmacher was born July 10, 1964 in Buffalo to Donald and Gladys (Klemz) Ahsenmacher. He grew up and lived his entire life in Annandale. Dewey graduated with the Class of 1982 from Annandale High School where he was a standout athlete in football, hockey and baseball. He continued to enjoy sports as he grew older; bowling, golfing and playing softball were just some of the activities he loved. Dewey was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and the Cardinal Athletic Foundation. He was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and sitting around a camp fire. He loved his dogs, hanging out with family and friends and especially being with his two girls.

Dewey is survived by his daughters Brooke (Brian) Mueller of Annandale and Bree Ahsenmacher of Bozeman, MT; parents Don and Gladys Ahsenmacher of Annandale; sisters Leanne (Joe) Fernandez of Annandale and Lynne Robasse of Annandale; brother Dave (Jacquie) Ahsenmacher of Annandale; former wife Laura Ahsenmacher of Annandale; twelve nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and great nephews.
