Dave and Doris were such good friends to my parents. I know Dave and my dad Don had many fun times fishing, hunting and bowling over the years. I remember Dave crafting many interesting board games and other crafts for gifts to my parents. My prayers go out to Doris and the Youngquist family.

So sad to hear another of my cousins on the Henning side have passed away. Sadness here on earth, however, the siblings and all of the Youngquists are rejoicing at the feet of Jesus.
David was such a fun loving guy with a great smile. We loved his "Mac" letters at Christmas.
Bill and I had been motor home travelers as well so could relate to those adventures. Also I suppose the fish in MilleLacs , Canada and waters all over can now sigh in relief as he will not be bothering them anymore.😊 We are spending the winter in Arizona so will not be attending the funeral. Deepest sympathy to all. Bill and Martha Ann (Youngquist) Gotfredson

Dear Tim,

Thank you for your kind words of condolence. We miss Dad dearly. In recent years we were able to camp, hunt and fish with my folks. We're really going to miss doing that now, but will treasure the good times and fond memories :)

We are so full of sadness to lose our wonderful brother and uncle! May you rest in the grace and peace of our dear Lord and Saviour, who has now welcomed our dear David to come home to Him! May our sorrows be turned into joy, knowing we will join him some day in Heaven. Until then, our fabulous memories of him will sustain us, with the help of Jesus. Thank you for all the loving care you gave your parents and grandparents! You went 'above and beyond', in every way!

With much love and deepest sympathy, in your tremendous loss,

Dear Youngquist Family

Our prayers and sympathies go out to you at this difficult time. David and Dori were great friends of ours. David and I taught in adjacent classrooms for something like eight years. We were still together for another eight years as I went into administration. We bowled together, golfed together and even did a little fishing together. We raised our families together along with a number of other teachers in Annandale. We even started a stock club together. I'm not sure I can remember everything we did together. Oh yes, we sang in church choir together, too. In later years our contact was usually through Christmas greetings. His always was so special with the computer emphasis. Many of our Annandale friends have passed away without our knowing it until it was too late for us to attend the funeral. Marlys and I will be there for David's. David, a very special human being, who touched the lives of many. May the Lord bless and keep you, David's family, as you work through this difficult time. You are in our prayers. Our sympathies and best wishes to all of Dave's family. Regrettably we are in Texas and unable to attend the services. We so much looked forward to seeing Dave and Doris at their winter retreat in Texas as we had in the past several years. We also enjoyed the great fish fries at St. John's and at the Youngquist home. Many of us will remember the fishing trips Dave organized including the famous Millacs perch trips. Dave was always fun to be around, and especially when he brought out his crafty creations. He will be missed by many. Regards, Don Gadow and Cheryl Antl.

I was fortunate having Dave in Annandale school. We went to the same Church to. After graduation. I helped my Dad (Don) wiring at Daves house by Suger Lake. I thought Wow! Dave is a really good teacher, fun to wire with to. Then Dave built a shop shed and, I was fortunate to wire it years after school. It was great. I was wiring for him various little projects and, still learning from him. Then I did cemetary wire projects for St. John's with my school teachers. Dave, Don Hauskin and, 1 more. It was really fun with my teachers! Dave always talked to me at Church telling me to hang in there with my stroke. Dave was always concerned about others. Truly a good person. 👍 R.I.P. You shall be missed by many.
