   Charles O. Fisher, age 90, of Annandale died Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Annandale Care Center.

   Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale, with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Annandale.  Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday at the church with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.  Further visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

   Charles Orville Fisher was born September 16, 1925 in New Maine Township to Ben and Selma (Shefveland) Fisher.  He graduated with the Class of 1942 from Newfolden High School.  During World War II, Charles served his country with the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946 at the rank of Quartermaster Third Class.  He graduated with a degree in education from Bemidji State Teachers College with the Class of 1949 and earned his Master's in Education from the University of Minnesota in 1951.  On August 21, 1955, Charles was united in marriage to Opal Junae Mathsen at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Warren.  He worked as a teacher and principal at Newfolden High School for 10 years, principal at Clarkfield High School for 3 years, and was the principal at Annandale High School for 18 years, retiring in 1986.  Charles enjoyed reading, traveling, hunting, fishing and outdoor activities.

   He is survived by his wife Opal; children John (Susan) of Minneapolis, Steven (Terry) of Bemidji, Thomas (Lori) of Raleigh, NC and Brian (Jamie) of Monticello; 7 grandchildren Ben, Heidi, Kate, Jessica, Jacob, Sasha and Luke; 3 great grandchildren Stone, Calvin and Roger; sisters and brother Iola Rokke of Thief River Falls, Burton (Dorothy) Fisher of Scottsdale, AZ and Esther (Paul) Braafladt of Seattle, WA.  He is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Selma Fisher and brother-in-law Ingvald Rokke.

   The urn bearers will be Dave Youngquist, Paul Iverson, Bob Lyng and Dennes Borman.  Orma Lou Jacobsma and Bev Sorenson will provide the music for the service.  Military Honors will be provided by the Minnesota National Guard Honor Guard.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
