Candace Kay Anderson, age 46, of Willmar, formerly of Kimball, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the Sibley State Park near New London, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Kimball United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Felska officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Candace Kay Anderson was born January 23, 1971 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Ellsworth and Judith Anderson. As an infant, Candace moved with her family to Kimball where she grew up and attended school. While in school, Candace was involved with volleyball, softball, marching band, and cheerleading. Following her high school graduation in 1989, Candace moved to Willmar, where she has resided since. Candace enjoyed music, playing sports, especially softball and volleyball, and watching movies. She had a special place in her heart for animals. Candace enjoyed making crafts, such as keychains and bookmarks, and also liked to give away her creations. Above all, Candace treasured the time she was able to spend with her family.

Candace is survived by her parents, Ellsworth & Judy Anderson of Kimball; sister, Michelle (Tad) Kurkowski of Kimball, nephew, Jamie (Hannah) Kurkowski of St. Cloud; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Candace was preceded in death by her sister, Georgia Ann and grandparents, Albert & Ida Anderson and Lorane & Florence Harms.

Jamie Kurkowski, Hannah Kurkowski, Tad Kurkowski, Jeff Swanson, Mary Wiener, and Jeff Harms will serve as pallbearers.
