    Bonnie Cordt passed away peacefully surrounded by family and opened her eyes in heaven on June 6th, 2016.

    Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Kimball Church of Christ with Pastor Jerry Albert officiating.  Burial will follow at the Kimball Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

    Bonnie was born on September 4th, 1933 to Elmer and Milada (Pospisal) Horsky in Lincoln, Nebraska. She spent most of her childhood in Lincoln until moving to Arizona in 1941 due to her mother's illness.  Bonnie married George Cordt in 1954; together they had 4 children and traveled across the United States and abroad, wherever the Air Force sent them. In 1972 the family settled in Kimball, MN.

    Bonnie was a homemaker and bookkeeper throughout most of her life. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling in the motor home with her daughter Becky and family. At the time of her death she was living in Pell City, AL.

    Bonnie was very proud of her Czech heritage. In fact, her Great Great Grandparents Frank & Mary Horsky are noted in the history books as the first settlers to homestead in Gage County, Nebraska.

    Bonnie is survived by 3 daughters Becky (Dan) Ouimette of Pell City, AL, Debbie Rokala (Lowell Mathiowetz) of New Ulm, MN and Karen (Larry) Huhn of Darwin, MN; grandchildren Dr. Dani Monteil, Dr. Jeni Hodges, Lori Weingarden, Seth Rokala, SFC Saara Loch, Ben Huhn and Joe Huhn; great grandchildren Lily, Mason and Caleb Monteil, Lyndsey and Caitlyn Hodges, Kaitlyn, Kammie Jo and Lylee Rokala, Peyton Loch, Shyra, Skyla, Summer, Sophia, Hayden and Henley Huhn; sister Carol Harper of Tucson AZ; sister-in-law Alice Bryant of MN; brothers-in-law Bill Cordt, Bud (Darlene) Cordt and Robert (Jeanie) Cordt, all of MN; and many nieces and nephews.

    Bonnie is preceded in death by her son G. Thomas Cordt; her parents Elmer and Milada Horsky; ex-husband George Cordt; and brother-in-law Tommy Harper.

    The casket bearers will be Daniel Ouimette, Lowell Mathiowetz, Larry Huhn, Ben Huhn, Joe Huhn and Seth Rokala.  The honorary casket bearers will be Danielle Monteil, Jenelle Hodges, Lorielle Weingarden and Saara Loch.  Lori Miller and Betty Lou Hoeft will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
